Part I: Meme Snagging from
ahicks
Jun. 7th, 2007 04:49 pmOkay. I snagged it from him, he snagged it from
snaik... Lord knows where it all stops...
Anywho...
Since I don't keep music on my work machine, but I do have DVDs with my MP3 collection on them, I loaded up Disk #5 (as I was the fifth comment in his post about this meme), loaded WinAmp and went to town. Here are the first 20 songs with words on the randomizer.
My personal rules - I didn't repeat any artists (I tend to get whole albums). I skipped a couple of songs because they were too easy to guess (Dead, Dead, Dead from the South Park Christmas album, for example), but they are all the first lines from the songs (although some of the lines are spoken at the beginning of the music rather than actually *sung*.) Also, there was one song where the title of the song was, literally, every other line of the song. I edited that out, but included the first two lines of the song that *wasn't* the title.
Oh, and two of these were musical comedy bits from singing comedians. You have been warned.
Here we go.
( Because there is one with rather strong language, my list is behind this cut for people at work... )
Added Help - Because this is my "Artists-S through Z" DVD, that may help. But keep in mind that 'The' and 'Soundtrack' fall on this DVD as well, so you may get surprised.
