Okay. I took the presedential quiz - Which candidates I (supposedly) have 'common ground' with...

Hoo-boy. Is THAT thing busted, or what?
If you have to put a label on my political views, it would have to be 'Rational Anarchist'. I feel that people should have nearly absolute freedom, but I also understand that 90% of people need rules and regulations to cope, so I support the idea of 'As little government as possible.'
While that is dangerously close to Libritarianism, and I generally go with the "Crazy L" party when I don't have dice, there is one important thing I'm aware of - They're all bloody batshit crazy.
I have no problem with taxes, as long as I can see what I'm getting with my money.
I understand that Mariuana is a fairly harmless drug (no worse than alcohol, which is already legal), but I don't like the idea of every drug being legal.
My biggest concern is The System. The American Constitution is a great set of guidelines to follow, for the most part. I just think we've gone so far away from it that it's not even funny.
Modern politics is about saying what is needed to win an election, and then working carefully to highlight any fullfilled promises while sweeping the rest under the floor. That's it.
We can fix this country. We could do it in 4 years, easily. We could have everything we want. But, since it will involve pain, suffering and money - it will never happen.
We need $15 a gallon gas. We need to restructure all three branches of our government to be perfectly transparent in HOW it works so that the lowest common denominator can look at a tax form, Senate bill, or federal budget and walk away with a basic understanding. We need to quit voting for parties and start voting for people.
And we need to get along. Shame that will never happen, what?
Meh. I need to go hang a projector now.
