Part I: I guess you could call it 'barter'....

As some of you know, I've been site admin for one of points' domains since he moved away from Colorado. I figured that, since I could get business class DSL and he would be in a state of flux while he was moving and stuff, it was better for me to do the hosting.

Besides, I love my e-mail address THAT much...

So, almost 3 years later, it seems that points will be taking it back. Lots of reasons - Ask him if you're interested in that sort of geekery.

The conversation went something like this:

points - Would you mind if we moved the domain closer to me?
Me - Your domain. I don't mind. But I don't mind hosting it, either.
points - Well, I think I got a nice deal with good bandwidth.
Me - Well, how much is this nice deal going to run?
points - Dinner once a month and a couple of blowjobs a year.
Me - Hmmm... Well, I don't think Qwest is going to match that. Regardless of the bandwidth.
